RN - Long Term Care in Cordova, AK
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care primarily to Long-Term Care (LTC) residents and Med-Surg Adult patients.
• Manage patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring, utilizing skills necessary for medium-to-high acuity patients (indicated by required certifications).
• Document all patient care, assessments, and progress accurately using the Point Click EMR system.
• Work the designated Day Shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
• Holiday Coverage is required.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) and Med-Surg settings is required.
• Housing Note: Housing is provided and paid for by CCMC (located close to the hospital). NO PETS ALLOWED in hospital housing. CCMC does not pay for rental cars.
Licenses and Certifications:
• License: Must have an Active AK (Alaska) License (Must Be Currently Active).
• Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is listed, indicating a need for strong acute care/trauma knowledge.
