Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Medical-Surgical to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across various clinical settings, including acute care, telemetry, and medical-surgical units. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Position: RN Med Surg • Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension • Shift: Day 3x12 • Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs weekly • Facility: Banner Wyoming Medical Center • Location: Casper, WY • Pay: $2197 for 36 hours Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations. • Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. • Manage complex medical procedures such as IV insertion, catheter care, tube feeding, wound suturing, and airway management. • Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation of medical records, medication administration, and patient data. • Monitor patients in various settings including ICU (PICU), telemetry units, post-operative recovery areas, and outpatient clinics. • Perform diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing and diagnostic imaging coordination.
