A healthcare nursing professional is needed to provide skilled patient care in a rehabilitation and critical illness setting. Responsibilities include: • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans. • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify educational needs and treatment goals. • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record. • Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct nursing care using the nursing process. • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission to support smooth transitions. • Communicate effectively with care providers and supervisors about patient status and care continuity. • Provide supervision, training, and guidance to ancillary nursing personnel and delegate responsibilities appropriately. • Maintain a safe environment and adhere to all hospital safety policies and procedures. • Support a positive unit environment by contributing to team-building activities and providing reassuring leadership. • Monitor and report supply needs and equipment status; provide cost-effective care. • Pursue ongoing professional development and assume charge nurse responsibilities when requested.
