Job Description
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. As a Med Surg RN, you will manage patient care in a high-paced, clinically advanced setting, using state-of-the-art technology and supported by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated, quality care.
Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
Manage patient care with specific attention to safety, infection control, and quality.
Participate in the development and review of care protocols and guidelines.
Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
