RN Med Surg | Beachwood, Ohio in Beachwood, OH

Providing exceptional care to patients with diverse medical needs, this nursing role focuses on Med/Surg Telemetry to monitor cardiac and vital signs, interpret EKGs, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patients recovery from conditions such as heart attacks and strokes.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, addressing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using electronic telemetry equipment
• Analyze and interpret EKG results to identify changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications accurately and adhere to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond effectively to emergencies and contribute to patient stabilization efforts

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact License
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment during night shifts

Schedule:
• Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
