An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care on a Medical-Surgical unit during night shifts. This contract position requires a dedicated professional with strong clinical skills who can adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment, delivering quality patient care over 13 weeks with a possibility of extension. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to 5-7 patients per shift in a Medical-Surgical setting. • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately using Cerner EMR. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and best nursing practices. • Respond effectively to patient needs and emergencies during night hours. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active RN license with at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience. • Certification in BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and ACLS required. • Ability to work night shifts: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, scheduled 4 nights per week including weekends. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Commitment to reliable attendance; facility allows only 2-3 call-offs across the contract duration. • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred. Schedule: • Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am). • Four shifts per week, including weekends.
