An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care during night shifts. This contract position is based in Cambridge, MD, offering a 13-week assignment with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), working every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Responsibilities: • Provide quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients on a designated unit. • Manage patient care with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. • Float within the specialty and occasionally to a lower-acuity sister facility as needed. • Adhere to professional standards and facility protocols, including wearing designated royal blue scrubs. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: • Current Maryland RN license in good standing. • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred or willingness to obtain. • Minimum one year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required. • Open to first-time travel nurses looking to expand their expertise.
