This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with MedSurg and Orthopedic experience to provide exceptional patient care in a busy hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients and post-operative orthopedic patients, supporting their recovery in a collaborative and professional environment. Position Details: • Location: Carmel, IN • Job Type: Contract • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly • Weekend Rotation: Yes • Call: No • Patient Ratio: 1:5 • Unit Beds: 52 • EMR System: Epic • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, adherence to dress code policy • Float Requirement: Yes, including in-house and to sister campus Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, including respiratory, diabetic, and post-op cases such as orthopedic replacements, colon, and rectal surgeries. • Utilize strong time management and critical thinking skills to prioritize and manage patient care efficiently. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Adhere to facility policies, including proper scrub attire. • Assist with patient care responsibilities during float assignments, ensuring continuity and quality care across units.
