A registered nurse with Med-Surg experience is needed to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of an experienced Nurse Manager and contribute to comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population including oncology, obstetrics, hospice, as well as medical and surgical patients. Responsibilities include: • Conducting thorough nursing assessments and accurately documenting patient information. • Developing individualized patient care plans based on assessment data. • Implementing and documenting the care plan effectively. • Evaluating patient responses to treatments and updating care plans accordingly. • Supervising and directing co-workers in the execution of patient care tasks. • Delegating responsibilities to unit staff as appropriate. Desired Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Experience in medical-surgical nursing, with knowledge of oncology, obstetrics, and hospice care preferred. • Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. • Ability to supervise and lead nursing staff. • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
