Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a solid background in telemetry. This contract position offers a schedule designed to provide work-life balance, with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday.
Responsibilities:
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients on telemetry units with a focus on monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in orientation testing and comply with facility protocols, including flu vaccination requirements.
• Be adaptable to floating assignments within similar units when needed.
Qualifications:
• Valid Massachusetts RN license and current BLS certification are required.
• Minimum of three years of telemetry nursing experience in medical-surgical settings.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred but may be waived for strong candidates.
• Telemetry test to be completed on the first day of orientation.
• Ability to provide proof of flu vaccination.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Flexibility to support related nursing units as necessary.
