An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to provide dedicated care in a well-regarded hospital setting located in Dothan, AL. This contract position offers the chance to work day shifts in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess patient condition, providing thorough medical-surgical care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare protocols
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with Medical-Surgical clinical experience
• At least 1 year of direct Med-Surg nursing experience required
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Ability to work day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Permanent home address located more than 50 miles away from the facility to fulfill travel criteria

Schedule:
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
