A registered nurse with med/surg experience is needed for a night shift role at a well-regarded medical center in Easton, Maryland. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment with a manageable ratio of 1:5-6. Ideal candidates have at least one year of med/surg experience and are licensed in Maryland. Schedule/Hours: • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) • Every other weekend required (4 weekends in a 4-week cycle) • Holidays required as scheduled Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med/surg patients following hospital protocols • Maintain patient safety with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes • Flexibility to float within the specialty and occasionally to a sister facility as needed • Utilize proper infection control and patient handling procedures Qualifications: • Registered Nurse with Maryland state license • Minimum of one year of med/surg nursing experience required • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory • CPI certification preferred • Ability to adhere to night shift schedule and weekend requirements This role welcomes first-time travel nurses seeking to explore new healthcare environments.
