Job Description

A Registered Nurse with Emergency Department and Neuro ICU experience is sought for a specialized healthcare opportunity in Glendale, Arizona. This contract position offers the chance to work in a nationally recognized Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital renowned for advanced tertiary care and medical education. Candidates must possess Cerner EMR expertise and prior travel nursing experience specific to these critical care environments. Key Qualifications: • Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of core experience in Emergency or Neuro ICU nursing • Previous travel nurse assignments completed in ED and Neuro ICU settings • Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems • Level 1 trauma center and teaching hospital experience required • Ability to complete the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam 24-48 hours before job acceptance (max two attempts) • Adherence to facility policies including no visible facial piercings and natural hair colors • Must have reliable personal vehicle for travel team assignments • Availability for a minimum 13-week contract Location Highlights: Situated in Glendale, AZ, this facility is part of a prestigious medical network featuring a 607-bed hospital dedicated to lung, liver, and kidney transplants, and affiliated with the world-leading Barrow Neurological Institute.
