A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic care at a well-equipped, 52-bed healthcare unit in Greenwood, Indiana. This contract position offers a structured 36-hour workweek with 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including weekend rotation and no on-call requirements. Responsibilities involve delivering compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population, including MedSurg patients with respiratory and diabetic conditions, as well as post-operative Orthopedic patients recovering from procedures like joint replacements and colorectal surgeries. This role requires excellent time management and critical thinking skills to ensure safety and high standards of patient care. Flexibility to float within the unit and to a sister campus within the system is essential.
