Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med-Surg and Emergency Department experience to provide exceptional care at a Critical Access Hospital in North Kohala, Hawaii. This contract role offers an opportunity to work 12-hour shifts covering days and/or nights, including weekends and holidays, ensuring flexible scheduling tailored to the hospital’s needs. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. • Utilize EPIC electronic health records software proficiently to document patient information and coordinate care. • Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical interventions as necessary. • Assist with patient education and discharge planning. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Experience in Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department nursing. • Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system. • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
