RN Med Surg | Lebanon, Virginia in Lebanon, VA

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Med-Surg experience, located in Lebanon, VA. This contract position offers a chance to practice in a well-respected acute care hospital known for quality patient care and safety. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients. • Utilize your clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems. • Adhere to hospital policies and standards in delivering patient-centered care. Qualifications: • Active RN license with at least one year of Med-Surg nursing experience. • Proficient in general abdominal, routine vascular, small parts, pelvic, and OB procedures. • RDMS certification is required. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Familiarity with Meditech and PACS-NovaRad electronic health record systems is a plus. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Schedule: • Night shifts. • 36 hours guaranteed weekly. • Every other weekend off. • No call requirements.
