A nursing professional with experience in medical-surgical care is sought for an engaging contract role based in Mansfield, LA. This opportunity allows you to apply your clinical expertise in a setting that manages a variety of patient cases, including pneumonia, cardiovascular issues, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications:
• Licensed Registered Nurse with RN license in state of employment or compact license required
• BLS certification mandatory
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Proven skill in nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Competence in administering medications and treatments following established protocols
• Strong documentation abilities and patient education skills

Responsibilities:
• Deliver routine and complex nursing care independently in alignment with professional standards
• Manage patient needs that are psychological, emotional, cultural, and social
• Perform clinical duties such as dressing changes, IV line management, and care for NG and PEG tubes
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary
• Provide clear documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Collaborate effectively in healthcare teams and delegate tasks to optimize clinical outcomes

Schedule:
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
• Work week includes Monday-Tuesday, off Wednesday-Thursday, on Friday-Sunday, off Monday-Tuesday, on Wednesday-Thursday, off Friday-Sunday
