A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Med/Surg and telemetry experience in Oregon City, OR. This contract role involves providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs, including general surgery, neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, and bariatrics. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to general medical, surgical, and telemetry patients • Monitor, read, and interpret telemetry strips; intervene appropriately upon changes or dysrhythmias • Assess patients and communicate with physicians or rapid response teams when necessary • Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to care for Med/Surg patients as needed • Uphold patient safety and infection control standards in accordance with protocols Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse license with Charge RN experience required • Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience; 2 years preferred • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Telemetry experience preferred • Strong critical thinking and communication skills vital for patient care and intervention Schedule/Hours: • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Location: Oregon City offers a welcoming community with scenic beauty and easy access to urban amenities.
