This contract position focuses on providing expert care in an ambulatory Operating Room setting within outpatient surgery, involving a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care across 13 rooms, adhering to facility protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic, as well as Pyxis and SBAR communication, is essential. The role requires flexibility to float within various OR departments, late coverage for case completion, and participation during major holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience; new graduates are considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficient in Epic electronic health records system
• Experience in ambulatory surgical settings is highly preferred
• Ability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule (06:45 AM 07:15 PM)
• Willingness to float within OR departments and work scheduled holidays and calls
• Compliance with clinical screening and orientation procedures mandatory
