Provide comprehensive nursing care across all age groups in a dynamic clinical setting located in the scenic area of Southeast Alaska. Key Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in collaboration with primary care providers. • Recognize and respond to urgent and emergent situations with sound clinical judgment. • Administer therapeutic treatments and operate specialized medical equipment safely. • Perform patient triage and direct care appropriately, maintaining clear communication. • Maintain a safe, sterile environment and manage medical supplies and equipment. • Support laboratory functions including phlebotomy and quality assurance tasks. • Assist with respiratory therapies and radiology duties, encompassing EKGs, pulmonary tests, and x-ray management. • Participate in case management and establish care plans with referral coordinators. Qualifications & Preferred Experience: • Active Alaska RN license is mandatory at the time of application. • Flu vaccination compliance required. • X-Ray experience preferred but not a requirement. • Ability to work independently with good organizational and decision-making skills. • Prior experience in urgent/emergent clinical settings advantageous.
