A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care on a Medical-Surgical Unit serving adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. This contract position is based in Window Rock, AZ, offering a dynamic environment with excellent staffing ratios that ensure manageable patient loads and quality care delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver skilled nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients within a 20-bed medical-surgical unit. • Maintain proficiency in responding to patient needs, including potential float assignments to other departments based on qualifications. • Collaborate with healthcare teams during inpatient care and occasional community health efforts such as Flu Immunization clinics. • Attend regular staff meetings and comply with scheduled orientation and training requirements. Qualifications & Experience: • Valid American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory. • Minimum of three years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing. • At least one year of pediatric nursing experience with confidence in caring for both adult and pediatric patient populations. • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and variable schedules.
