Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical office team. This full-time position offers 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements, providing a healthy work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background and be excited to work in the neurology specialty. While previous neurology experience is not required, candidates should be motivated to learn and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care & Assessments:Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and neurological evaluations, ensuring all information is accurately documented in patient records.
• Patient Education:Provide education to patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle adjustments. Empower patients with the knowledge they need to manage their health effectively.
• Assisting in Diagnostic Procedures:Support physicians in performing diagnostic tests and procedures such as EEGs, nerve conduction studies, lumbar punctures, and other neurologic assessments. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Medication Administration & Management:Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects or adverse reactions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide patient education on prescribed treatments and therapies.
• Care Coordination:Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments, ensuring continuity of care.
• Clinical Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all regulatory standards. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a clear and organized manner.
• Patient Support & Advocacy:Serve as a patient advocate by addressing concerns, providing emotional support, and ensuring that patients' needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Compliance & Safety:Adhere to all medical office protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control practices. Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Continuous Learning & Development:Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to neurology and nursing best practices. Stay informed about advances in neurological care and treatment.

Requirements:
• Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.

Minimum Experience: 6 months of nursing experience.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
