Registered Nurse- Med Surg
A-Team Solutions is seeking (4) Medical/Surgical RN’s for 6 month contract positions for the VA New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. The RNs will be required to work alternating weekends, holidays. 12hr shifts, Day and Night shift available.
Job Duties:
RN to work on an acute care medical/surgical unit, RN shall be responsible
for patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, interdisciplinary
team coordination, admissions, and discharges, internal and
external transfers, delegating to assistive personnel, electronic medical record
documentation, patient transport, and emergency response procedures.
Requirements:
• Shows evidence of having graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a current, legal Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing in state of practice.
RN Education must be from an accredited school of either ACEN or CCNE accreditation
• Shows evidence of 2 years recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Medsurg
Prefers evidence of ACLS, BLS,
• Shows evidence of CEU requirements for the state of practice.
• Demonstrates clinical competence specific to Med Surg, the ability to work in a team environment, assume a leadership role in a crisis situation and the ability to work with patient growth and development needs across the specific unit to assignments.
• Demonstrates a full range of body motion in a regular performance of duties on a daily basis.
• Must be able to work with frequent interruptions.
Must have 2 years’ Med/Surg experience
