RN-Medical/Surgical PRN in Athens, TN

RN -Med Surg -PRN position available. Core competencies / Validations for the position include, but are not limited to the following: • Provides for the individual rights of patients. • Directs / provides for appropriate assessment / re-assessment of patients. • Plans and provides appropriate nursing care based on the individual patient's assessed needs. • Provides healthcare education to patients and / or families. • Provides continuity of care by enlisting services of other healthcare team members. • Manages patient care to ensure safety and minimize risk to the patient, family and the organization. • Manages time and supplies effectively. • Communicates and documents pertinent information to all appropriate individuals in the continuum of care. • Demonstrates knowledge of an adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures. • Med Surg - experience preferred • TN RN license required • BLS required RN -Med Surg -PRN position available.
