Job Title : Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift

Position Summary
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for directing and coordinating patient care while delivering high-quality individualized nursing services. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians interdisciplinary care teams patients and families to develop and implement comprehensive care plans in accordance with state nursing standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe effective and patient-centered care across diverse age groups including pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric populations.
Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Promote teamwork and effective communication throughout the unit and hospital.
Maintain accurate documentation using the CPSI / Evident EMR system .
Adhere to hospital policies related to confidentiality patient rights advance directives ADA compliance and professional conduct.
Function independently while managing multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Provide holiday coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing .
Current BLS / BCLS certification required.
ACLS and PALS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Strong assessment communication computer and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
Experience in critical access or rural hospital settings is a plus.
