Registered Nurse – Patient Care Services

Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. Demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization. Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
Responsibilities
• Deliver quality and effective patient care.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families.
• Practice sensitivity to patient rights in the delivery of care.
• Handle emergency and crisis situations effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
