Job Description A critical access hospital in beautiful Northern New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical/Surgical Unit. Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. You will develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families, collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, and apply sound clinical judgment in both routine and complex situations. Responsibilities Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical/Surgical Unit Perform thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical exams Gather, analyze, and interpret clinical data to guide care decisions Review preoperative checklists and ensure all requirements are completed Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license Strong communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment Additional Information Full-time, permanent position Schedule: 3x12 shifts, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Competitive benefits and desirable perks If you're interested in this opportunity, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
