Job Description

Redington-Fairview General Hospital is offering a unique opportunity for new graduate RN’s to join our teams through our ENGAGE (Engaging Nurse Graduates in Active Guided Education) Program. This program will provide education, support, and hands-on training to new graduate nurses as they begin their careers at RFGH. All new RNs can expect a structured, comprehensive orientation in which they will work closely with experienced nurse preceptors. New RNs will also be paired with a specific nurse mentor for their first year of employment who will help guide them through the transition from student to practicing RN. Full time positions are available for nurses who have recently graduated or who are graduating in the upcoming months from an accredited nursing school. We are currently accepting applications for our Med/Surg and Emergency Departments This is a skilled professional registered nurse position which requires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to deliver quality nursing care to patients in all age groups: pediatric to geriatric Status: Per diem with availability 7p-7a and 7a-7p Qualities: This vibrant and forward-thinking RN will possess strong critical thinking, flexibility and communication skills. The ability to work independently but also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing patient-centered care is a must Requirements: Must hold current Maine RN, BLS.
