Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Description
The Medical Surgical unit is a vibrant and supportive environment comprised of 28 beds with an energetic team of 80 staff members. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on day shifts, where you will provide excellent patient care in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
• Manage telemetry and medical surgical patients, with typical ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.
• Administer medications, perform blood administration, and manage heparin gtts, bumex, and lasix.
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and complete bedside shift reports.
• Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, patient care technicians, and a monitor tech.
• Participate in a flexible staffing model to meet patient care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Must have telemetry and medical surgical experience.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential.
