RN Med/Surg Full Time - Flexible Days or Nights Schedule in Siler City, NC

Overview: In the position of a Registered Nurse (RN), the key responsibility is to provide exceptional patient care and ensure positive patient outcomes by applying nursing expertise with compassion and effectiveness. Under general supervision, this role enhances professional nursing standards by overseeing patient care through the nursing process and fostering collaboration among various healthcare disciplines. Responsibilities: Reviews patient conditions and necessities in the assigned unit to offer nursing care that is personalized to each patient and ensures proper care is provided. Reviews patient records, which encompass medical histories, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, in order to devise unique nursing care plans. Initiates nursing procedures, such as medication administration and therapeutic interventions, to ensure thorough and effective patient care. Reviews medical documentation to verify its precision and adherence to both regulatory standards and organizational rules. Assessing how patients react to interventions and identifying any supplementary actions required to achieve defined care goals. Engages with a multidisciplinary care team to enhance the effectiveness of care planning processes. Undertakes any additional tasks provided. Qualifications: EDUCATION: Required: • Associate's Degree in Nursing Preferred: • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE: Required: • 1 year as a Registered Nurse Preferred: • 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
