Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg trauma level unit. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective nursing care, maintain patient safety, and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
• Document care and patient progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) using Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on managing their health and treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and effective environment for patient care, adhering to all safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Med-Surg nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to float to various units as needed.
