Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will work on a unit with a total of 42 beds, supervising and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent service to patients.
Responsibilities
• Assist with PICC line placement and management of chest tubes.
• Perform wound care and tube feedings.
• Initiate IV access, administer blood products, TPN, and Heparin.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to telemetry alerts.
• Utilize various medical equipment including BiPap, telemetry monitors, and pumps as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Must have a positive attitude and BLS certification.
• 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS certification is a plus but not mandatory.
