Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional floating between various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. There is no call requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the Comprehensive Medical Unit and designated floating units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain proficiency in reading telemetry, and pass competency tests on day one.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Active BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required, with documentation necessary for referral.
