Registered Nurse – Night Shift – Float

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units, providing essential patient care as needed. The candidate must possess a Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment and cannot have medical or religious exemptions for immunity documentation.

Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in medical and surgical units, which may include the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes in patient care.
• Monitor patient ratios based on unit requirements: Medical (1:8 at night), Laulima (1:6), and Cardiovascular (1:4).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
• Must have or obtain an active State of Hawaii nursing license prior to the start date.
