RN Acute Care Medical Surgical with Telemetry Location Bluffton, IN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Job Description We are seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Care Medical Surgical position with telemetry experience. The role involves providing care for patients in a medical-surgical unit, with responsibilities including nursing assessments and IV starts, along with telemetry monitoring. This position has a focus on progressive care and swing bed patients. Responsibilities • Conduct nursing assessments and provide appropriate interventions. • Monitor telemetry readings and relay significant changes to the healthcare team. • Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed. • Provide patient education and support to patients and families. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Current RN license in Indiana. • BLS & ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. • Experience with telemetry and IV skills required; ICU drip experience preferred.
