Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 6-week contract position with the possibility of extension. Schedule Night shift, 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM). Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Job Description The Registered Nurse will deliver patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, managing treatments, administering medications, and providing education and support to patients and their families. Responsibilities • Monitor and assess patient conditions. • Administer medications and treatments as per protocols. • Provide education and support to patients and their families. • Document patient care accurately and promptly. • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience within the last 6 months. • Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. • New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Compact License.
