Nights, 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients in a Med Surg Rehabilitation setting. The nurse will also participate in patient and family teaching while providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Responsibilities
• May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Coordinates total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provides leadership and collaborates with nursing and other patient team personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience is required.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least 3 months) is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) are required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Candidate must have their own vehicle as public transport is unavailable.
