Shift: 12H Days, 7a-7p. Rotating weekends and holidays required.

Job Description

The 5 Pavilion Med-Surg Tele floor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care for surgical, orthopedic, urology, and medical patients. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, the RN will work in a 32-bed unit focusing on post-operative and medical patient care.

Responsibilities
• Care for post-operative and medical patients, including adults and geriatrics.
• Titrate drips such as Heparin based on established protocols; cardiac drip experience preferred.
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring with support from the charge RN.
• Assist in patient care as needed, including filling in the Charge Nurse role if required.
• Float to adjacent units or assist in the Emergency Department when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current RN licensure.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with care of surgical/orthopedic patients, particularly hips, shoulders, and knees.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience in a telemetry monitoring environment preferred.
