Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00) Job Description The Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients, focusing on those with respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, and psychiatric observation. The position requires passing an EKG exam during onboarding. Responsibilities • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings. • Administer medications and provide patient education. • Manage and provide care for patients with various medical conditions, including diabetes and end-of-life care. • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Provide pre/post-hemodialysis management as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. • BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred. • Experience with Epic charting system is required. • Previous charge RN experience is preferred.
