ICU Staff Nurse (Day Shift) – Medical ICU Position: Registered Nurse (MICU) Location: Kansas City, KS Shift: Day Shift | 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM Contract Dates: 02/09/2026 – 05/10/2026 Job Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU. • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and respond to clinical changes. • Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions. • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans. • Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and clinical protocols. • Support and educate patients and families. Requirements • Active RN license (state or compact). • Previous ICU/MICU experience preferred. • BLS and ACLS certifications required. • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract Pay: $56.00 - $62.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Experience: • ICU/MICU: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • RN License (Required) • ACLS Certification (Preferred) • BLS Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Kansas City, KS (Required) Work Location: On the road
