Job Description
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexible hours)
• Oversees the development and ongoing editing of unit-specific forms and patient education materials including promoting knowledge of oncology and effects for patients, support partner(s), and care providers.
• Monitors surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and reporting key results at Leadership Team meetings.
• Develops and oversees pre and post-op teaching classes, coordinating teaching materials with the physicians’ office.
• Tracks and documents data for National Consortium of Breast Centers Quality Program and National Accreditation Program for Breast Center accreditation. Informs and educates patients about their breast imaging results and post-biopsy home care.
• Provides education, support, and assistance to patients diagnosed with breast cancer, advocating for timely access to care and treatment.
Qualification Requirements
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range
$69,988.00 - $130,178.00
