Registered Nurse – Mother Baby Night Shift
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient needs, and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments, perform therapeutic nursing interventions, and manage care of patients effectively.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification must be AHA.
• NRP certification required.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
Schedule
This position is for a night shift, working 3 12-hour shifts.
