NICU Registered Nurse – 7:00AM to 7:00PM Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level 2 NICU setting. The ideal candidate will provide family-centered care while delivering high-quality nursing care to sick and preterm newborns.

Responsibilities
• Attend deliveries and admissions as a Charge RN.
• Provide daily care of sick and preterm newborns, including PIV insertion, NG placement and feeding, and recognition of changes in newborn conditions.
• Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures, chest needling, and surfactant administration.
• Collaborate with lactation consultants and occupational therapists to ensure family involvement in care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• NICU Level 2 or higher experience required.
• Certifications: NRP and STABLE encouraged.
• Advanced skills in PIV insertion, NG placement and feedings.
