Reports To: Clinical Director
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Location: Cape Girardeau, MO: This position serves CCC's Five-County Catchment Area, with services provided as needed within the catchment area. Some evenings may be required based on agency or client needs.
Pay Range: $73,120 - 78,120 per year
Job SummaryCommunity Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking a Nurse Supervisor with an RN to lead our psychiatric nursing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. This role involves overseeing medication injection clinics, providing education on psychotropic medications, and supervising nurses and medical staff to ensure exceptional care for outpatient and residential clients. As a key liaison between medical staff and administration, you'll collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinical Director to uphold CCC's mission of delivering empathetic, client-centered mental health services. Ideal candidates are Registered Nurses (RNs) with psychiatric nursing experience and strong leadership skills.
Essential FunctionsMedication Clinic Coordination:
Organize and lead medication injection clinics, ensuring efficient delivery of care to clients.
Client and Staff Education:
Provide education to clients, families, and clinicians on medication usage, side effects, and adverse reactions to support informed care.
Consultation and Collaboration:
Offer consultation to CCC's residential facilities and outpatient programs, working closely with clinical teams to address client needs.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise nurses, medical office aids, and adult residential nursing staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies and providing training and feedback to meet performance expectations.
Inventory and Compliance:
Manage medication storage and inventory, maintain First Aid Kits, and administer PPD tests for employees, adhering to DMH, CARF, and agency standards.
Liaison and Communication:
Act as a bridge between medical staff and administration, meeting regularly with the Clinical Director to align with CCC's vision and mission.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records in accordance with clinical policies, DMH, CARF, and other federal or state program standards.
Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Missouri license
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric or mental health nursing experience
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications, psychopathology, and counseling methods
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and compliance with CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards
