Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Varied 12-hour shifts (3 PM – 3 AM and 3 AM – 3 PM) with negotiable options.
Job Description
Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes.

• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling changes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2+ years of OB Experience – Required
• Must have completed 1 Travel Assignment – Required
• Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB – Highly Preferred
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• ORALSO Certification – Required
• NRP – Required
• STABLE Certification – Required
• Fetal Monitoring Certification – Required
• BLS Certification can pend – all others must be active at the time of submission
