This role requires demonstration of clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills, alongside a commitment to improving patient care quality. The nurse will perform general and unit-specific clinical skills and will operate under the supervision of the charge nurse. Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all assigned patients. • Manage supplies and equipment efficiently. • Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel within the unit and other hospital departments. • Ensure adherence to all Standards of Nursing Practice. • Implement and evaluate age-appropriate care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-operative gyn patients. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies regarding sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA compliance. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of one year of acute care experience as an RN. • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. • Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, STABLE. • COVID-19 vaccination as per state mandate. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Basic computer skills.
