Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the age-specific needs of the patient population within the assigned unit. The RN ensures that high-quality care is delivered efficiently and safely in line with the unit’s standards. The individual will demonstrate effective work habits and clinical practice, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement patient care effectively.
• Ensure quality care is provided in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and goals of the unit and organization.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with patients and healthcare team members.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification required from AHA.
• ACLS Certification required from AHA.
• NRP Certification required.
• Chemo certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
