Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Location
New Hampshire
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days 8 hours, 5 days a week, with call 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend.
Job Description
The Operating Room RN will provide nursing care in the operating room setting, managing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role requires proficiency in circulating surgery, with a focus on orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological, podiatric, urological, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and endoscopic procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• 2 years of current hospital experience required
• Experience in OR circulation with orthopedics, including total hip and total knee surgeries
• Skills in arterial line, central line placement, and IV initiation required
• Vent BiPAP experience required
• Current PALS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
