Night shift: 4 x 10 hours (21:00 – 07:30)

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients across various specialties. The RN will work in a Level I trauma center and be involved in a broad range of surgical procedures, including General, GYN, and Robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities
• Circulate and scrub for various surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to safety protocols during surgical operations.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Previous charge experience is required.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Preference for teaching hospital experience.
• Experience in vascular and general surgery procedures.
