As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team, providing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing effective interventions. Your expertise and leadership will be vital in promoting a safe and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues. • Assess and collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues • Develop and implement individualized care plans • Promote health and a safe environment through effective strategies • Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members • Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice • Maintain professional development and competency in current nursing practices • Comply with hospital policies and guidelines related to stroke care • Participate in ongoing cerebrovascular disease education To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse, and American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS certification is required within six months of hire. A minimum of 18 months of Registered Nurse experience is required, with CNOR certification and experience in circulating or scrubbing preferred.
